The next One City Plan drop in session on Tuesday October 8 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm will concentrate on the newly founded CH1 Chester Business Improvement District Company (BID).
All city centre businesses are invited to come along to share their views, ideas and priorities for a BID in Chester city centre which is a business led and business funded body, formed to improve a defined commercial area. Currently there are almost 170 BIDs operating successfully in towns and cities in the UK.
Come along to find out more, speak to leading businesses, including independent retailers and hospitality businesses who have come together to form the CH1 Chester BID Company. Learn about how a BID can make a difference, bring together the city centre business community, and make a positive change with tangible bottom-line benefits.
The drop-in session is taking place at the Town Hall’s Palatine Room and members of Chester Renaissance and CH1 Chester BID Board will be on hand to answer questions.
The One City Plan is a 15 year strategy to guide the future economic regeneration of Chester, which will co-ordinate and drive a programme of public and private investment and development activity into Chester city centre.
In addition and at each drop in session over the next couple of months a member of the Theatre, Cinema and Library Project will be available to update attendees on the demolition of Commerce House.
The next session on Tuesday November 12 will focus on the city’s Waterways Strategy.
