The Cheshire and Warrington area has unveiled plans to make its debut at MIPIM, the world’s largest property conference, in 2017.
For the first time, Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will showcase the sub-region at the annual showpiece in the French city of Cannes. The 2017 conference, which runs from 14-17 March, is expected to welcome more than 21,000 delegates including representatives of major property professionals, developers, councils, regions and governments.
The LEP said that MIPIM is a significant platform to launch and promote investment opportunities on a scale not possible anywhere else. It added that this “exciting and significant” move demonstrates the confidence in the strength of Cheshire and Warrington’s growth potential and offers a chance to position the local economy alongside other major players in the North.
