DCMS has now made the announcement that the delivery of the Universal Service Obligation will be via regulation (therefore rejecting the BT offer of a voluntary approach.)

There has been some media coverage thus far today , including the Today programme, and there will be pieces broadcast on BBC’s 1pm and 6pm news including interviews with Matt Hancock, Minister of State for Digital.
