The LEP is offering to investment in specialist equipment to support a central hub and up to four satellite facilities to support digitalisation in construction, including the nuclear sector across Cheshire and Warrington. The LEP expect to see a specific focus on Building Information Management (BIM) including use of software such as Tekla.

We would expect this project will include the provision of satellite centres at geographical locations across Cheshire and Warrington linked into the central hub.

The indicative budget for the central hub is up to £140,000 with an additional budget of up to £120,000 to be allocated across 3 or 4 satellites facilities. The proposed investment will boost our digital skills and increase access to the new technologies and business processes that will be critical over the coming months as we start to recover from the Coronavirus.

The LEP would welcome bids to deliver the hub and spoke model in its entirety or separate bids for the hub and the spokes. In considering the bids the LEP will want to see evidence that the hub and spokes will operate collaboratively, including sharing equipment and expertise and enabling access to individual learners and local businesses right across the geography of Cheshire and Warrington.

The deadline for submission is 5pm on Friday 1st May 2020.
