Council leader Louise Gittins is inviting the borough’s business leaders  to join her at a unique event next month.

‘Let’s Talk Business’ will be an opportunity for companies across Cheshire West to meet, share ideas and learn about the Council’s vision for the future of business in our area.

It will be held at Oulton Park, Little Budworth, Tarporley, from 8.30am-10.30am on 8 October. Joining Councillor Gittins will be members of the Council’s senior management team.

At the event, attendees being able to:

  • learn about the emerging Council Plan
  • have an open discussion about opportunities for their business with other companies
  • learn more about the business support available from Cheshire West and Chester Council and partners.

Councillor Louise Gittins, Council leader, said: “The emerging local industrial strategy provides a range of opportunities to develop and grow our key sectors in Cheshire West.

“The strategy will seek to improve the quality of jobs available to people across the borough, improving the skillset and future prospects.  It will also enhance our infrastructure, which will help the local economy to continue to progress and expand.

“Local business plays a vital role in helping this strategy achieve these targets, by influencing and prioritising key actions for growth. We look forward to meeting with them at this important event when we can discuss the future of business in our borough.”
